Have you heard of Outschool? During the pandemic teachers were making a crazy amount of money using their virtual skills, teaching on their platform. And it is only getting better!! Teachers are rocking Outschool’s virtual teaching jobs.This job is designed for anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit. Outschool hosts 100,000 classes for students from ages 3-18. Teachers can create classes on fitness,Harry Potter and even Fortnite. The best part is teachers set their own price for each class. Some teachers are racking in coins making around $40 an hour and up. This is a great side hustle that also has the potential to become a full-time gig.
Teach English Online
Teaching English online is a great way to rake in some extra dough. These jobs pay between $15 to $26 per hour. My first gig as an online teacher was with a company called VIPKID, where I taught English to students in China. I did this as a part-time job for over a year. Companies like Varsity Tutors, Tutors.com and Club Z! at the top of the list.Parents are requesting classes for students as young as 3 up to adulthood.These Online tutoring jobs can range from $30 to up to $60 per hour. Test prep tutoring is also a great option. Helping students and adults prepare for tests, like the SAT, GED, and the GRE can pay really well. Ziprecruiter reports the average pay for SAT tutors is around $48,000 to over $100,000 a year.
Teach Online
Companies like Connections Academy by Pearson has teaching positions all over the US. According to Glassdoor.com, Connections Academy teachers make an average of $48,158 with pay ranging from $31,000-$60,000 as a full-time teacher. If you have a masters degree or higher, teaching at a college, university or junior college could be an option for you. Educationaldata.org stated that among nearly 3000 colleges in the United States, only 4% are planning fully in-person classes, with the remainder of colleges offering virtual learning in various capacities. If you are looking for a part-time side hustle, adjunct professors can make around $3,500 per course section. This could be a great side hustle with a salary ranging from $35,000 to $58,000.
